Palo Alto College New Student Orientation (NSO)
New Student Orientation (NSO) is a mandatory requirement for First Time in College students, Transfer students, and for any students who has been out of college for more than one year. Completing NSO will help you learn about resources available to you
such as tutoring, advising, career exploration, financial literacy, getting involved, and much more! NSO will also make you aware of import polices and deadlines that can contribute to your academic success!
Step 1: Complete all required enrollment steps
Before registering for NSO you must complete
all the required enrollment steps. Students who do not complete all steps in the enrollment process will
not be allowed to complete New student Orientation and will need to register for a new date.

Step 2: Register for a New Student Orientation/Registration date
First Time in College, Transfer and Returning students are required to complete
mandatory
New Student Orientation.
Advising and Registration
During New Student Orientation you will get to meet with a Certified Academic Advisor to register you for courses.
