CRELS In Class Workshop Request Form (FACULTY USE ONLY)

Thank you for expressing interest in Career Readiness & Experience & Experiential Learning Services (CRELS)! This form is intended for faculty, staff, and students at St. Philip's College to request a Career Readiness presentation at their event, class, or student organization meetings.

Please try to fill out requests at least two weeks prior to your requested date to ensure availability. You can use this form to request any of the following Career Readiness presentations and group services:

• Career Exploration: align your values, interests, and skills to programs and career paths within each AlamoINSTITUTE, and identify factors to consider when comparing career opportunities. Participants will develop a toolkit of resources and strategies to make the best informed career decisions for themselves. 

• Career Planning: review strategies to conduct strategic career research and develop long-term SMART goals after choosing which career path you intend to pursue. Identify skills needed for your intended career, and how to leverage your college experience to develop essential Career Competencies employers are looking for!

• Experiential Learning Overview: discover how experiential learning opportunities can enrich your college journey and pave the way for personal and professional growth. Explore various types of immersive experiences and opportunities to actively engage with them both on and off campus. 
  

• Interview Skills Training: necessary tools and techniques to excel in job interview process and maximize the chances of securing employment opportunities. Participants will review different types of interview questions and methods to prepare their answers ahead of time.

• Networking Skills & Strategies: practical techniques to build professional networks and leverage them for career advancement. Participants will gain insights into effective networking tools, etiquette, and strategies, empowering them to navigate the job market with confidence and enhance their employment prospects.

• Resume & Cover Letter Writing: essential skills and knowledge to create impactful resumes and compelling cover letters. Through guided sessions and practical exercises, participants will learn effective strategies to showcase their qualifications and stand out to potential employers in today's competitive job market.

• Successful Job Search Strategies: gain valuable insights and practical tips to enhance your job search skills and increase your chances of securing coveted positions. Participants will develop a toolkit of resources and strategies to find the job that is right for them!
